Alpenpalace Ahrntal Valley / South Tyrol

I am pretty sure most of you already know where we have been this weekend. Via social media I took you with me into Ahrnthal Valley / South Tyrol and I wanted to show you the nice area, the moutains and the coolest spots for swimming and doing sports. Well, instead of enjoying nature we enjoyed – thanks to those really hot temperatures – the pool. The Alpenpalace Hotel has an breathtaking garden (if that’s the right word for 30.000 square meters of flowers, grass, fountains, pools and so on) and it was quite easy to change plans.

About one hour away of Brixen and kind of in the outback is the the Deluxe Hotel & Spa Resort Alpenpalace located. Perfect if you like it idyllic and some time full of tranquillity far away from the mainstream tourist spots. A very warm welcome received us already in the hotelroom: A huuuuge fruitplace, welcome drinks and really friendly staff.

The huge garden I already mentioned before is to die for: it is big enough to go for a walk, to find a calm place for reading a book and also to do some workouts without being interrupted.

The poolarea with it’s white princess bed were just perfect for those hot summer days. Plus: you feel a little bit of Dolce Vita far away from where it’s really happening. Here you can stay all day long (proofed!)

By the way: the hotel is really dog-friendly. Except of the restaurant area, the spa and the pool our Frenchie Vicky was everywhere welcome. She also found some new friends: a lot of other guests brought their dog also with them!

Drinks & Food at the Pool? Yes please!

Every Sunday the hotel hosts a gala night. On this special day the champagne is opened by an sabres! The guests love it and it’s a perfect startet to an delicious menue.

My personal highlight was the breakfast buffet: You kind of find E V E R Y T H IN G here and if not you can ask the friendly service staff. It was perfect for me: Fruits all over, whole grain products and a latte macciato with soy milk!

We really enjoyed this weekend and were totally relaxed on Sunday back in Munich. The next days I will post a lot more pictures of this weekend: we did not just chilled, we also worked on a few projekts: stay tuned!
