This weekend we went up in the air- literally! Together with Michi, Julia and André we planned a little action day: High rope course, Stand-up paddling and of course enjoying the sun! The cause was that I wanted to test my new action cam! You may remember my snowboardingvideos I did with a goPro- now it’s time for alternatives! I love to film with the cam in my hand, so I searched for something handy, light and easy operation.
Around 10pm our first stop was Lake Chiemsee! From there we went to the high rope parc and guys- I have to be honest: I guess I neeever ever did this before- not even as a kid! I was often in the mountains, hiking and climbing but wow, this was something totally different! Everything was just wobbly! Here we (or was it just me?) had fear-sweat, overcoming and curses (a lot of them) but at the same time so much fun, relief and of course pride. We met almost every age there and I can really recommend such a trip to all of you: You challenge your inner fear, outgrow yourself and hey: the workout for the day is more than done! 😉
After 3 hours of climbing, finding balance and jumping we had a delicious lunch just in front of the water! Afterwards we drove a few miles to the next location: SUP!
I was still a little bit doddery, but hey: I don’t quit! We borrowed some boards and went straight into the water. I needed a few minutes and explanations to manage standing on the board and paddle at the same time. If you once know how to do everything it is so much fun! And of course it is a perfect full-body-workout! Next time I’ll borrow a SUP for the whole day and may even do a little sunbath on the board 😉
A few facts about the HTC RE-Kamera:
Even with bad lightsituation (as the high rope course) it does good pics!
The cam is waterproof (1 meter) and perfect for pool- and lakeaction.
It is handy, easy to use and the battery lasted the whole day.
With the RE-App you can do some cool features as super-wide-angle and have total control of all the settings.
With just a little practice (you don’t have a screen) you can freeze beautiful memories.
You can find all details for technique etc. also if you google 😉
We had an super exciting but at the same time relaxing day, which is so rare for me at the moment. I can really entrust you to do such an trip. I am sure you’ll find an high rope course as well as an lake with SUP’s just near your home! The sundowner may be unique, but hey: Bavaria is always worth a trip!
