It is originally from Paris, François Pasquier invited to many guests for his garden party and the changed spontaneously the location to Boid de Bologne. Now it is a annually event which takes place now for the 6th time also in Munich. It is like an picknick for friends. Uncommercial and from friends for friends. The date as well as the location is a secret. You’ll get to know it just two hours before!
Just in a few minutes you build up your table, chairs and dinner on this special public place, wear all white and have on of the best dinners of the year!
What you need for the Dîner en Blanc:
Folding tables and chairs, tablecloth, candles, porcelain dishes, wine glasses, flowers, wine or champagne, sparklers, white serviettes and a three-course-meal. Oh, and most important of alle: clothes and accessoires in all white!
It doesn’t matter if you go there with friends, family oder just by yourself: You’ll meet amazing new people right on the tables next to you!
Oh, and the police is always saluted by swinging serviettes!
If it’s getting dark the event looks magical: Everywhere are candles on the table, smiling faces and anticipation of what’s coming next.
Sparklers! Every table has at least one package and exactly at 11pm all of them will be lightened up and it is really a special moment.
